Port Leucate marina

The marina, located in the heart of the Leo weather zone, in the Gulf of Lion, in Mediterranean, is one of the largest European marinas in the Mediterranean. A refuge and an exceptional stopover in the heart of wild and generous nature, preserved, in exceptional landscapes. Its fauna and flora make Cap Leucate, a remarkable site in the heart of the Lion, between Provence, Menorca and Sardinia, it is also an important migratory stopover for all species of birds en route to Africa.

This port is made up of several basins embedded in the heart of the dwellings, between sea and pond. Bordered by a huge beach, the port currently has 1400 berths divided into three basins and a marina in the naturist village. The "Dry Port" completes the equipment and allows the parking of 350 boats ashore.

Port management is part of the certification Ports Propres which joins the constant concern of the municipality of Leucate to protect its natural environment. It is this permanent concern that has enabled the municipality to obtain in 2022, as in previous years, the European Blue Flag for ports.

In addition to the harbor master's office and its services (reception and information desk, hoists, refueling station, specialized port waste collect center, toilets for boaters, conviviality area,…), the technical area accommodates the various nautical professionals : shipyards, ship chandlers and sailmaking, without forgetting the fishermen's wharf where you can buy fresh fish directly at the arrival of the boats.
